Siegel has handled complex appeals in the U.S. Supreme Court, most federal circuit courts of appeal, and Texas and other state courts. As an appellate lawyer, he repeatedly earned recognition from peers. He also frequently handles amicus briefing in constitutional and civil rights cases in the Supreme Court and lower courts representing significant organizations and academics. These have included LULAC; centers on legal ethics at NYU, Stanford, and other law schools; Berkeley Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky; Pulitzer prize-winning author and professor Matthew Desmond; Texas state legislators; and others.
